With my millions of dollars, I’ve begun looking at sites for potential projects I would put my funding into. At Kickstarter.com, one project stood out to me for several reasons. The link can be found here. The project is called “Light” by Moore’s Cloud. The presentation of the idea is great. It starts off first with a video that is clear and concise, introducing the viewer to the project in the most efficient way. I get a great idea of what the product will be in just a few minutes. The go on to explain more down below, which was helpful in learning how much thought had been put into this project already. Being a millionaire, I want to make sure the campaign that I fund is well thought through and is actually serving a purpose. The project synapsis does a good job of proving that to me without me having to work too hard to come to that conclusion.
On Indiegogo.com, I found another project worth my time and money. The link can be found here. The layout was extremely effective; crisp, clean, and concise. It had an introductory video that was quick and to the point, yet informative and influential enough to draw you in. What I found most impressive is what was found below. The writing was very concise and well written, and filled with facts that improved the validity of the project. It’s always a good sign when a project has a writer on their team that would take the time to illustrate so clearly what they were about and how I, the investor, could help. This project had already far exceeded it’s original goal, but they had set a new, more ambitious goal that they were encouraging people to help them with. An excellent example all around.
For my project, I would like to proudly announce that Indiegogo is our preferred choice. We’ll be posting pictures of our memes that will be posted all over midcoast Maine and showing the world that we don’t want this tank to come into our state. With the funds we raise we’ll work on mass producing the posters so that they’ll be seen in every major building in all of the towns along the coast. Your support will go towards printing costs so that we can provide high quality images to further increase the impact on the audience that our images will be creating. The more striking the image, the more support we could raise for our cause. We’re choosing Indiegogo because the layout is crisp and clean, the projects along the same vein as ours, and the process to make a new project is straightforward.
